PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device with improved resistance against tightening torque of a screw block terminal. SOLUTION: A screw block terminal 10 comprises a block body 11, a nut 12, an electrode 13, and a projected part 14, wherein the block body 11 has a first side surface, a second side surface, a third side surface, a forth side surface, an upper surface part and a lower surface part. The projected part 14 is projected from the first side surface of the block body 11 in such a form that a side wall part 5 is sandwiched between the projected part 14 and the block body 11. In the projected part 14, a projection part corresponding to a wall-shaped body 7 arranged on a case member 2 is formed. Projecting contact members 17's are formed on the third side surface and the forth side surface respectively in the form of the extended contact surface of an outer wall surface 5a of the side wall part 5.
