PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved heat insulating material for a floor by which a large drainage slope (inclination of an upper face) can be secured, and the drainage function is not spoiled even when the heat insulation material is cut at an arbitrary position according to the space between horizontal members at a construction site. SOLUTION: The heat insulating material 10 for the floor which fills the space between the adjacent horizontal members 20, 21 of the floor underlayer includes an outer frame part 11, a peripheral wall part 13 and an inside area 12. The inside area 12 is divided into a plurality of areas 12a by ridges 14 having the substantially same height as that of an upper end of the peripheral wall part 13. An upper face side of each of the divided areas 12a is formed to have slope faces 15 inclined downward from an upper end of the peripheral wall part or the ridge toward the inside.
