PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion tube for vacuum-degassing apparatus with which the fall-down of a fixed-shape refractory and the opening of a joint part can be restrained. SOLUTION: The immersion tube 1 comprises; a tubular core metal 5; a plurality of studs 6 respectively fitted to the outer peripheral face and the inner peripheral face of the core metal; a first monolithic refractory layer 11 for covering the outer peripheral face of the core metal and supported with the core metal through the studs fitted to the outer peripheral face of the core metal; a second monolithic refractory layer 12 for covering the inner peripheral face of the core metal and supported with the core metal through the studs fitted to the inner peripheral face of the core metal; a fixed-shape refractory layer 13 arranged at the inside of the second monolithic refractory layer and having a flowing-through course 9 for making to flow through molten metal; basic parts 7a buried into the fixed-shape refractory; and the plurality of studs 7 with the basic parts having the projecting parts 7b projected into the second monolithic refractory layer from the basic parts.
