PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition for textile products having excellent cleaning power, rinsing property and biodegradability. SOLUTION: The detergent composition for textile products contains (a) a specific nonionic surfactant expressed by general formula (I): R<SP>1</SP>-O-(EO)<SB>o</SB>-(PO)<SB>p</SB>-(EO)<SB>q</SB>-H, (b) an anionic surfactant selected from a soap and an alkyl sulfuric acid ester salt and (c) a water-soluble chelating agent.
