The gauge (1) has a caliper thread (2) i.e. goods-instructing thread, for testing a predetermined minimum measure of a thread to be tested. Another caliper thread (3) i.e. connection-instructing thread, tests a predetermined maximum measure of the thread to be tested. The two caliper threads are axially arranged one behind the other to a rotation axis (A), where the two threads are torque-proof coupled with one another. The caliper thread (2) is utilized as an intake thread for the caliper thread (3).
