SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SAME, AND SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT-EMITTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element having a preferable structure of extracting light to the outside, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof, and a semiconductor light-emitting apparatus equipped with the semiconductor light-emitting element.

SOLUTION: In the semiconductor light-emitting element, a substrate 1 has a semiconductor structure 10 having at least a light-emitting layer 3 and a conical columnar structure 7 having the semiconductor structure 10 side as a bottom on a region of a part of the semiconductor structure 10. The columnar structure 7 can reflect, diffract or disperse light propagating through the semiconductor structure 10 and deflects it in a light extracting direction.
