摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure braking operation of a parking brake by preventing the degradation of pulling force due to the elongation of a cable in the pulled condition of the cable which means the operated condition of the parking brake. <P>SOLUTION: At the time when the operation of the cable is completed, a hole IC has output voltage Vs&ge;Vtc (a voltage value for target pulling force). After the operation is completed, therefore, the output voltage Vs is continuously monitored. In Step S22, the output voltage Vs is compared with the voltage value Vtc for the target pulling force. When the output voltage Vs is lower than the voltage value Vtc, the elongation of the cable is produced in the operated condition and so a motor is driven (refer to Step S23). In Step S28, the motor is driven until the output voltage Vs of the hole IC gets to the voltage value Vtc for the target pulling force.
