<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device capable of suppressing scale-up in a direction along the rotary axial line of an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: The driving device is provided with an electric motor MG2, a speed change gear 25 provided on a route for transmitting the power of the electric motor MG2, and a sensor 101 for detecting the rotation state of an output shaft 17 of the electric motor MG2. The sensor 101 has a first constituent 102 and a second constituent 103 which relatively rotate, and is configured so as to output a detection signal based on the relative positional relation between the first constituent 102 and the second constituent 103. The first constituent 102 is provided on a component 100 configuring the speed change gear 25, and the second constituent 103 is provided on a power transmitting member 29 to which the power is transmitted from the electric motor MG2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
