<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for cleaning soil which has a high cation exchange performance at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: Ions, contaminated materials, are cleaned by removing from contaminated soil 8 by using the device for cleaning soil 10 provided with a pumping up means 5 pumping up contaminated water 9 (groundwater) from the soil 8 contaminated with harmful materials, an ion removing means 1 for mixing a hydrotalcite-like material of a crystal element size of 20 nm or less or a hydrotalcite granular body with the contaminated water 9 pumped up by the pumping up means 5 and for removing the ions from the contaminated water 9, and a water-charging means 6 for charging ion-removed water to the soil 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
