DATA PROCESSOR, DATA PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor capable of reducing the power consumption without causing any processing abnormalities in an information processing employing a multithreading technology using a multiprocessor.

SOLUTION: The data processor includes: a storage part wherein information is stored; a plurality of first processors which perform parallel processing of information in a plurality of threads and stop access to the storage part from the plurality of threads in response to reception of a processing stop request signal and send a power supply stop request signal after the end of all processings for information which the plurality of threads have acquired before the access stop; a second processor which monitors a queue of information stored in the storage part and determines the number of first processors to be operated, in accordance with the data quantity of information stored in the queue and transmits a processing stop request signal to first processors other than those to be operated; and a power supply control part which controls power supply to the plurality of first processors and stops power supply of a first processor being a transmission source of a supply stop request signal in response to this supply stop request signal.
