<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image indicator which can perform perfect switching of a perfect image using one functional image indication material. <P>SOLUTION: This image indicator can make a varying image appear using the functional image indication material showing a change in a visible color depending on conditions. In this image indicator, a plurality of sets of one first region 10 and one second region 20 adjacent to the first region 10 are arranged. The surrounding of each of the second regions 20 is encircled by a plurality of the first regions 10 and a first dot region 11 constituting a first image and a first background region 12 other than the first dot region 11 are found in the first region 10. Further, a second dot region 21 constituting a second image and a second background region 22 other than the second dot region 21 are found in the second region 20. Besides, the functional image indication material is used in the first background region 12 and the second background region 22.
