PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact lens assembly that can achieve mass production, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the lens assembly 10 includes: a processing step (S31) of dividing and processing the surface of a lens substrate and forming many lens units; a bonding step (S32) of bonding many lens substrates via the processing step (S31) having different properties each other as one integrated body; and a dicing step (S33) of dicing the integrated body in lens unit and producing many lens assemblies.
