PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent various pipes etc. embedded in a concrete structure from being cut or damaged, when boring the concrete structure. SOLUTION: This boring method is to form a hole in the concrete structure 65 employs a columnar grinding wheel bit 55 whose boring surface is formed of a plane, which has a core hole running through axially and a hole or a slit arranged at least at one spot and running through the inside/outside of the core hole; and forms the hole in the concrete structure 65, by rotating and propelling the grinding wheel bit 55 while supplying a fluid the boring surface through the core hole by a fluid supply means 4.
