PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component restraining a change in a paste thickness in printing restraining a change in a paste thickness in printing, and to provide a manufacturing method of the electronic component. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a laminated capacitor 10 has a printing process for screen-printing an electrode paste 22 onto a sheet 20 using a squeegee 50. There is a dipping process for dipping the squeegee 50 to an organic solvent 58 for swelling before the printing process, thus significantly suppressing the situation where the squeegee 50 has already been swollen when printing is started and the squeegee 50 is swollen further in printing. As a result, by the manufacturing method of the laminated capacitor 10, the swelling of the squeegee 50 is reduced, thus restraining a change in the paste thickness in printing.
