PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for the detachably fixing of the holder for a doctor blade in a paper production plant. SOLUTION: The holder is installed on a swingable support around a shaft oriented at least toward the direction of a doctor edge abutting on a support or guide roll. The holder is formed of holding fingers 31 extending in the crossing direction to the support shaft and constituted of a second support unit disposed on the support and a first support unit mutually acting with the second support. A drive element exists between the holder and the support and the holding fingers 31 can be mutually and independently swingable. One of the two support units is formed of a cut off portion 33 extending toward the pivot shaft direction, especially a bearing shell 42 forming a slots 42a, and the other one of the two supports is formed of a support pin 41 passing through a cut off portion and supported by a web or the like in the bearing shells 42.
