PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel support device which supports travel only when required and which can prevent the collision of one's own vehicle without giving discomfort to a driver. SOLUTION: When it is determined that the own vehicle is traveling on a non-priority road toward an intersection and another vehicle is detected obliquely ahead of the own vehicle, it is determined whether or not the own vehicle and the other vehicle may collide with each other and an avoidance support part is activated according to the result. If it is determined that the own vehicle is traveling on the non-priority road toward the intersection, it is determined that they are likely to collide with each other as compared with when traveling on a priority road. Accordingly, when the own vehicle travels on the non-priority road, the device supports traveling suitably and when on the priority road, the driving support is suppressed.
