PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for bending a hair-pin tube capable of producing hair-pin steel tubes of the number twice that of a conventional value in one bending work by a bender unit by feeding tubes of the number twice that of tubes to be cut once by a cutter unit to the bender unit. SOLUTION: A plurality of tubes 5 cut by a cutter unit 1 are fed to a bender unit 2 for a first feed lot. Next, the cutter part 1 is horizontally moved by the length corresponding to the width h of one half of the spacing H of the tubes 5 fed in the first feed. A plurality of tubes 5 for a second feed lot is fed between the tubes 5 for the first feed lot. Each tube 5 on the odd-number line for the first feed lot and each tube 5 on the even-number line for the second feed lot are folded in a hair-pin shape at one time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
