PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the degradation of image quality due to residual signals, to shorten imaging time and to reduce burdens on an examinee when performing a prescribed operation using a plurality of radiation images acquired by continuously imaging the same object B for two or more times by the same radiation image detector. SOLUTION: The radiation image P2 acquired from the radiation image detector 5 is defined as the object image of afterimage removal, the radiation image P1 imaged in the previous time of the object image is defined as the reference image of the afterimage removal, a first processed image P2' for which an afterimage in the object image is removed on the basis of the pixel value of the reference image is acquired, and the operation of energy subtraction processing is performed using the pixel value of the reference image and the pixel value of the first processed image P2'.
