A machine room (15) for receiving an engine (7) is placed between a cab (14) provided on a rotation frame (5) and a counterweight (6), and the machine room (15) is constructed from a left front support member (20), a rear support member (21), a connection support member (22), a left face door cover (25), etc. A horizontal holding section (22B) and a tilted holding section (22C) are arranged at portions in the middle in the front-rear direction of the connection support member (22) for connection between the left front support member (20) and the rear support member (21). The above arrangement enables a worker to hold the tilted holding section (22C) etc. of the connection support member (22) with the left face door cover (25) open. As a result, easiness of cleaning etc. of a rear face section (14B) etc. of the cab (14) is enhanced.
