METHOD FOR PROCESSING OPEN ASYNCHRONOUS APPLICATION SERVICE EVENT AND THE OPEN WEB SERVICE GATEWAY WHICH IT EMBODIES

A method for processing an open asynchronous application service event and an open Web service gateway implementing the same are provided to facilitate changing of a dynamic event notification policy by determining a priority level for an event notification based on a policy set by an operator. A plurality of SCFs(Service Capability Features) receive an event registration request from an application service by interworking with the application service through a Web service interface, and notify the application service about an event generated in a network. If an event requested to be registered by the application service is an asynchronous event, an event broker(130) registers the event for each SCF based on a pre-set policy. When an event occurs in the network, the event broker notifies the SCFs according to registered priority levels with respect to the event. In registering the event, if registration information of the same event as that requested to be registered already exists so collision according to event registration is predicted, an event registration priority level is determined based on a policy corresponding to the case of predicted collision, according to which the event is registered. A policy DB(Database)(150) stores and manages policy data an operator inputs through a gateway OAM processor(170).
