A SYSTEM OF THE EXPOSURE ADJUSTMENT USING THE PATTERN-RECOGNITION

A system for adjusting a camera exposure using pattern recognition is provided to generate reference patterns in case that the luminance of a target object to photograph is excessively bright or dark and adjust the amount of exposure on the basis of the generated reference patterns by using a pattern recognition method, thereby preventing a camera from photographing an image on the basis of 18% gray colors. A method for adjusting a camera exposure comprises the following steps of: acquiring an original image as the target object of a specific case; calculating the luminance of the image for comparing whether the luminance of the image is greater or less than 18% gray; generating 18% gray patterns; grouping the patterns using an MKM algorithm; generating reference patterns; constructing a pattern recognizer in a server for providing the reference patterns; searching for a proper pattern after comparing the pattern of the acquired image using web service technology with the reference patterns; and calculating exposure so as for the target object to be photographed like in the visual angle of human using the exposure value of the searched pattern.
