<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver which enables a signal strength to be measured over a wide frequency band. <P>SOLUTION: In the receiver 100, a received RF signal and a first local oscillation signal are mixed by a mixer 2A and a first IF signal is generated and demodulated/outputted. On the other hand, the first IF signal is swept for a predetermined sweep width and a signal strength of the received signal in the swept frequency domain is detected by a signal level detection circuit 7. Furthermore, a desired wide frequency band is divided with a predetermined frequency width equal with the swept band, a frequency of the first local oscillation signal is set for each division and sweep processing is repeated for each division, thereby finally obtaining spectrum distribution over the desired wide frequency band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
