<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal having a buffer that is capable of absorbing shock or impact force to protect an input device and internal components. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal having a buffer includes: a housing having an outer surface; the input device having at least one portion projecting above from the outer surface of the housing; and the buffer for protecting the input device from an external force.
