<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stop control system of an electromagnetic guidance type automatic traveling vehicle which is capable of realizing high-speed travel outside a stop area and excellent in the accuracy of a stop position within the stop area. <P>SOLUTION: When it is detected that the electromagnetic guidance type automatic traveling vehicle is within a stop area, the vehicle is decelerated by using the regenerative braking of a driving motor 4 and drum brakes 10a-10d. When a stop signal is detected thereafter, the vehicle is stopped by using an electromagnetic clutch brake 15 after the vehicle travels for a predetermined traveling distance. The preset traveling distance is compared with the actual traveling distance, and if the difference therebetween exceeds the set range, the electromagnetic clutch brake is released, and the vehicle is stopped by using the electromagnetic clutch brake after the finely adjusted forward or backward travel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
