PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce current consumption of a mixer circuit by making a design of an emitter follower circuit used for the mixer circuit suitable, in its turn to reduce power consumption of a device using the mixer circuit and extend operating hours of the device. SOLUTION: The mixer circuit 804 includes a differential amplifier and multiplication circuit for multiplying a local signal and an input signal, and a current amplifier circuit. An emitter terminal of an emitter follower circuit of a local signal current amplifier circuit 812 is connected not to a ground but to an emitter terminal of a differential amplifier and multiplication circuit of the mixer circuit 804, and also connected to the bases of the transistors which operate differentially.
