PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image indicating the situation of a scene with a simple configuration when a natural disaster or the like occurs. SOLUTION: While a main power supply is turned off, power is supplied to a CPU 64 for emergency and a camera shake detection section 20 via a power supply controller 50. The camera shake detection section 20 is utilized for determining whether the shake of a camera caused by an earthquake, or the like is occurring. When the shake of the camera is detected, the power supply controller 50 turns on the main power supply for executing photographing operation to record a still image and a moving picture.
