PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow users to select sound quality corresponding to usage purpose in wireless microphone technology. SOLUTION: A user of a transmitter selects sound quality suitable for usage purpose using a liquid crystal operation panel 90. An encoding processing means of the transmitter (a controller 9, a voice processor 30 and a transmission processor 50) performs encoding processing to convert signals digitized by an A/D converter 3 to ones in a digital voice format (i.e., sampling frequency, quantization bit rate or compression method) based on the sound quality selected in the liquid crystal operation panel 90.
