PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To access a control device having been replaced without modifying the program of an existent monitoring device nor changing settings etc., when the monitoring device and control device operate on the same network and then the control device is replaced on a different kind of network during facility renewal etc., in a gateway system interconnecting two networks differing in communication protocol. SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 1 having same address information with the control device to be replaced is arranged in a gateway, and the address of the control device on the different kind of network after replacement is associated with the communication apparatus 1. The gateway is provided with a communication apparatus 2 to be connected with the different kind of network, and the communication device 2 gathers necessary data on the different kind of network in predetermined cycles.
