PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel inspection device enabling the accuracy of the inspections for vessels to be increased. SOLUTION: This vessel inspection device 1 for performing the inspections for the vessels during the conveyance along a predetermined conveying route comprises starwheel conveying devices 20, 30 and a straight conveying device 40 disposed on the downstream side of the starwheel conveying device 30, taking in the vessels discharged from the starwheel conveying device 30 in the discharged order, and conveying the taken-in vessels in one direction while holding these vessels by a pair of conveying belts 41, 41. The inspection devices 80-85 are installed so that a part of the inspections is performed for the vessels being conveyed by the starwheel conveying device 20 and the remaining of the inspections is performed for the vessels being conveyed by the straight conveying device 40.
