PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a toner which excels in toner conveyability, when forming images. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a toner has a surface-treating step in which the surface of a toner 16 is treated with microparticles 15 containing silicon nitride, which have an average particle size of at least 10 nm and at most 100 nm. The image-forming device uses the toner manufactured by this method, the two-component developer that contains the toner, a process cartridge that uses the toner, and the process cartridge.
