PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring matter particle held gel retaining through-hole type microarrays, capable of easily detecting the flaw of gel, or the like, at manufacturing and of not affecting the detection of physiologically related substances. SOLUTION: In the microarray, having a capture probe and a through-hole in which a coloring matter particle held gel is retained, the coloring matter particle is a fluorescent coloring matter particle, and has a fluorescent wavelength region different from the fluorescent wavelength region for detecting the hybrid with the capture probe. By using the gel held through-hole type microarray, a fluorescent microscope is used to readily detect the physiologically related substance at manufacturing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
