PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket loader capable of surely preventing a bucket from falling at low cost. SOLUTION: This bucket loader 1 comprises the bucket 2 having wheels 3 rotatably disposed at the front and rear positions, a frame body F1 having a pair of main frames 4 rotatably guiding the wheels 3 of the bucket 2, a lifting mechanism A connected to a rotating arm 2b attached to the bucket 2 and lifting the bucket 2 along the frame body F1, and a control means C for controlling the lifting operation of the bucket 2. The lifting mechanism A comprises two wire hoists 5 each formed of a winding drum 11 attached to a fixed member, a wire 12 having one end wrapped around the winding drum 11 and the other end fixed to the fixed member, and a hook part 13 serving as a connection member suspended from the wire 12 through a running block.
