PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved siphon drainage system in which a storage section is provided, and which brings about the occurrence of siphonage without the overflow of water into a vent pipe by controlling the water flowing into the storage section, while decreasing the level of specifications of the storage section. SOLUTION: This siphon drainage system comprises a water-section appliance, a storage section which is connected to the water-section appliance, and a siphon drain pipe 14a which is connected to the storage section. The siphon drain pipe 14a is equipped with a difference between the heads of fluid. The vent pipe 20 is installed in the storage section 15. The siphon drainage system is equipped with the storage section 15 into which a leading end 21a of a drain conduit for connecting the water-section appliance and the storage section 15 together is inserted with respect to a leading end of the vent pipe 20.
