PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation structure of a wall easily constructable at low cost and having a high heat insulation effect. SOLUTION: This heat insulation structure comprises an inner wall 48 facing the indoor of a wooden house constructed by a conventional framework construction method, a stationary air part 56 formed on the outdoor side of the inner wall 48, and a heat insulation mat 34 made of a fiber heat insulation material disposed on the outside of the stationary air mat 56. A ventilation part 64 and an outer wall 62 formed on the outside of the ventilation part 64 are formed on the outside of the heat insulation mat 34. The stationary air part 56 between the inner wall 48 and the heat insulation mat 34 is formed in a stationary air layer since an ear part 40 around the heat insulation mat 34 is secured to a shaft member such as a column 26 by a moisture-proof sheet retaining edge 44.
