PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose a fastening member at an optimum position. SOLUTION: This protective device 3 attached to the installed part of a car stop 2 comprises elastic resin protective members 30 each formed in a cylindrical shape covering the installed part and having a separation part 31 along the axial direction formed at one position in the circumferential direction. A through hole 32 extending through the separation part 31 is formed in each of the protective members 30. A fastening member for moving the end surfaces 31a, 31b of the separation parts 31 close to each other are installed at positions along the separation parts 31.
