PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device with proper assembling workability, which uses a small number of components. SOLUTION: This lock device comprises: a rotary cam 4 which is housed in a lock case 2 formed by connecting a pair of case half bodies 1 together, and which is rotatively driven between locking and unlocking rotational positions by a locking/unlocking operation device 3; a dead bolt 5 which is driven to advance/retreat between locking and unlocking positions along with the movement of the rotary cam 4 to either of the locking and unlocking rotational positions; and an urging portion 6 for holding the rotary cam 4 by urging it to either of the locking and unlocking rotational positions. The urging portion 6 comprises: a connecting rod 8 which makes the rotary cam 4 serve as a crank, and which is connected in a sliding-pair manner to a rotary support 7 rotatably erected in the lock case 2, so as to constitute a swinging slider crank mechanism; and a compression spring 9 which is mounted on the connecting rod 8 by making one end abut on the rotary support 7. The attitude of the rotary support 7 is maintained in such a manner that one end of the rotary support 7 is supported by a bearing piece 10 which is elongated from a functional component fixed onto either of the case half bodies 1, and that the other end thereof is supported by the case half body 1 to which the functional component is to be fixed.
