PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach and detach a handle to/from the center shaft of an umbrella and to prevent the handle from being carelessly detached. SOLUTION: Inside a pipe-like center shaft 2 inserted into the center shaft insertion hole 10a of the handle 10 of the umbrella, a handle fixing pin 81 which can appear and disappear through a hole 84 formed on the wall surface of the center shaft 2 and a spring member 82 for energizing the handle fixing pin 81 in a projecting direction are housed. On the peripheral wall 10b of the center shaft insertion hole 10a of the handle 10, an engaging recessed part 90 to be engaged with the handle fixing pin 81 is formed from the inner peripheral surface to the middle. From the engaging recessed part 90 to the outer peripheral surface, a fine hole 91 which makes it possible to pressing the handle fixing pin 81 engaged with the engaging recessed part 90 from the outside with a needle-like tool is provided.
