The invention is a liquid composition comprising a substantially purified IGF, wherein the pH of the composition is at or below pH 5.0. Preferably, the pH of the composition is at or below pH 4.0. More preferably, the pH of the composition is at or below pH 3.5. More preferably, the pH of the composition is at or above pH 2.5. More preferably, the pH of the composition is at or above pH 1.0. In one preferred embodiment the pH of the composition is between pH 2.5 and pH 3.5. For example the pH of the composition is 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.4 or 3.5. |
