<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cross-sectional image display device, method, and program which consecutively and efficiently sets cross-sectional positions with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: A two-dimensional image of a thee-dimensional image to be displayed is presented in a position detection face 16A of a tablet 16, and the three-dimensional image is virtually constituted in a space on the position detection face 16A with dimensions and position corresponding to the two-dimensional image presented in the position detection face 16A, and in this state, a target cross-sectional position of the cross-sectional in the constituted three-dimensional image is designated by locating a display device 18 so that a surface corresponds to the cross-section, and meanwhile, the variation of a thee-dimensional position (first position) of the display device 18 is detected in real time by a PC 12, and a three-dimensional position (second position) of the display device 18 when the tablet 16 touches the display device 18 is detected by the PC 12, and the variation of the first position is stored in time series based on the second position, whereby the designated cross-sectional position is specified in real time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
