<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a bearing for a refrigerant compressor, which has improved friction wear property in boundary lubrication, mixing lubrication and fluid lubrication while securing the almost uniform structure of a completed product without releasing reactive gas which is produced during firing. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the bearing comprises using a powder molding machine as a vertical uniaxial press for compressing and molding kneaded material containing carbon graphite aggregate and binder into a cylindrical or columnar shape (N-Step 5), wherein a carbon graphite base material formed by firing an obtained molded product (N-Step 6) has a degree of graphite crystallinity of 15-50% with X-ray diffraction and a radial crushing strength of 18.6 MPa or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
