PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for selecting a power supply capable of extending the service life of a mounted non-rechargeable battery at maximum. SOLUTION: A rechargeable power supply 120 can be charged by a charging power supply 130. A non-rechargeable power supply 110 cannot be charged by the charging power supply 130. A selecting device 210 selects which power supply to be used, the rechargeable power supply 120 or the non-rechargeable power supply 110. A central processing unit 190 calculates charges of a load 220, determines which power supply to be used, the rechargeable power supply 120 or the non-rechargeable power supply 110, and designates which power supply to be used, the rechargeable power supply 120 or the non-rechargeable power supply 110 to the selecting device 210 based on the determination.
