PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system removing a dead angle and capable of monitoring a wide region without limiting a range in which a camera can move. SOLUTION: In the camera system, a monitor camera 2 and a battery unit 20 supplying power to the monitor camera 2 are moved to a rail track 1. In the camera system, the monitor camera 2 decides the residual quantity of electricity accumulated in the battery unit connected to the camera, and controls the battery unit standing by on the rail track so as to be connected to a camera body when the residual accumulated quantity of electricity is a specified value or below.
