PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear projector that facilitates display position adjustment of a projection image on a screen in the state of a finished product. SOLUTION: The rear projector 1 comprises a pivot unit 7A on which a reflecting mirror 5 is pivotally supported to rotate on a horizontal axis passing an optical path center point crossing an optical path center O of image light L enlarged and projected on a reflecting surface of the reflecting mirror 5 from an image projecting device 3, a first adjusting operation unit 8 which is partially exposed through a first opening portion formed on an external housing 2 and operable from outside the external housing 2 and enables the reflecting mirror 5 to be rotated and adjusted around the horizontal axis, and a second adjusting operation unit 9 which is connected to the pivot unit 7A, and partially exposed through a second opening portion formed on the external housing 2 and operable from outside the external housing 2, and enables the pivot unit 7A to be position-adjusted in a direction orthogonal to the reflecting surface of the reflecting mirror 5.
