PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchip inspection system for accurately performing liquid feed control, by keeping constant the amount of driving liquid filled in a flow path between a micropump and a microchip. SOLUTION: This microchip inspection system comprises the micropump for putting the driving liquid from a flow path into the microchip; a driving liquid detection means for detecting the presence of the driving liquid at a prescribed position of the flow path to output a detection signal; and a pump drive control part for driving the micropump, based on the detection signal obtained from the detection means to move the driving liquid to a position by using the prescribed position as its reference.
