PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating cycle device with high efficiency while retaining high reliability, capable of realizing favorable lubricated states of a compressor and an expander by a simple composition. SOLUTION: The compressor 110 with a compression mechanism 115 compressing a lubricant housed in a compressor sealing container, and the expander 120 with an expansion mechanism 125 expanding the lubricant housed in an expander sealing container, are connected by one communication piping 160. A vertical interval is provided between a connection end of a compressor 110 side and a connection end of an expander 120 side, and by transporting excessive oil in the connected compressor sealing container of an upper end 161 into the connected expander sealing container of a lower end 162, proper lubricating oil management is carried out.
