PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic mold for formation capable of preventing the scraping-off of lubricant. SOLUTION: This invention is intended for a metallic mold for formation comprising a die 2 having die-recessed part 21 for setting a work W, and a punch 6 plastically deforming the work W by advancing into the die-recessed part 21. A sliding metallic mold setting hole 3 opened in the die-recessed part 21 at the end part, is arranged and also, a slidable metallic mold 4 is arranged so as to be freely slidable in the slidable metallic mold setting hole 3. Either one side of wall surface in the inner peripheral wall face 31 of the sliding metallic mold setting hole 3 and the outer peripheral wall face 41 of the sliding metallic mold 4, is exposed to the die-recessed part, and constituted as the wall surface for formation and also, the remaining one side of the wall surface is constituted as the non-exposing wall surface to the die-recesssed part by retreating or advancing the sliding metallic mold 4 to the die-recessed part 21. A lubricant exposing space part 10 for preventing the scraping-off of the lubricant at the wall surface side for formation, is arranged on the non-exposing wall surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
