SYSTEM OF FACING PANELS AND RETAINING ELEMENTS FOR FACING BUILDING ELEMENTS

The invention relates to a system for qualitatively and easily facing building elements, particularly façades. Building-facing systems known in prior art are characterized in that a complex substructure, to which the facing panels are fastened from the outside through the panels by means of screws, has to be mounted on the building element. Said screws or the protective caps thereof are exposed to the weather, and projecting dirty spots are formed over time. In addition, the facing panels are subject to thermal stress, resulting in stress cracks or bulges in the facing panels because the diameter of the holes for the fastening screws is often small. The invention is characterized by a system of retaining rails that are easy to mount on the building element and opposite rails which are easy to mount from behind on the rear side of the facing panels. The retaining rail and opposite rail can have a punctual to planar dimension while always being designed in a grid-type manner so as to be mountable on the building element by simply pressing the facing panels into the retaining elements.
