A method and a system for delay locked loop for a rake receiver are provided to solve a problem that performance of a rake receiver is severely damaged by an intra-cell interference in frequency selective channels. A digital receiver processing module(64) and a digital transmitter processing module(76) perform a digital reception function and a digital transmission function by being combined with performing commands stored in a memory(75), respectively. A UE(User Equipment)(60) receives outbound data via a host interface(62). The host interface routes the outbound data to the digital transmitter processing module. The digital transmitter processing module processes the outbound data to generate digital transmission format data, and a DAC(Digital Analog Converter)(78) converts the digital transmission format data from a digital domain to an analog domain. An up-conversion module(82) directly converts an analog baseband signal or an IF signal into an RF signal. A PA(Power Amplifier)(84) amplifies the RF signal to generate an outbound RF signal. An antenna(86) transmits the outbound RF signal to a destination device.
