<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealing performance by improving the dimensional accuracy of a gap formed between a seal member and a slinger and minimizing the gap. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device 10 is arranged between an inside member 12 and an outside member 11 concentrically arranged to be relatively rotated. It comprises the slinger 13 to be fixed to the inside member 12, and the seal member 14 to be fixed to the outside member 11 for sliding contact with the slinger 13. The slinger 13 has an annular portion 16 to be protruded from the inside member 12 outward in the radial direction. The seal member 14 has a cylindrical portion 17b to be fitted to the inner peripheral face of the outside member 11. The face of the annular portion 16 existing at the radial outer end is opposed to the cylindrical portion 17b at a gap, and it does not include extra materials such burrs produced with the machining of the slinger 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
