<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of specifying a water level in a hot water storage tank from temperature change detected in the hot water storage tank during discharge. <P>SOLUTION: When a discharge mode is started by a remote controller 132, a discharging speed is calculated on the basis of lapse time in detecting prescribed temperature change by a thermistor 12 and a thermistor 13 and a tank capacity between the thermistors 12, 13, and the volume of water obtained by multiplying the discharging speed by the lapse time is subtracted from the tank capacity of the hot water storage tank 11, thus the water level at that time point can be specified.
